Hi, I'm Ché

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and have been working in the field since.

I bring visions and ideas to life through visual communication. Some of the ways I do this include:

• Branding for new or established businesses
• Creating vector and raster graphics, such as logos, icons, and other assets
• Package design
• Illustration
• Web design
• Setting up and preparing files for print runs

All within a flexible process built around each individual project.

I'm Dyslexic!

This means I spend a lot of time thinking about letters and words, their placement, and accessibility.

Did you know many online texts lack sufficient contrast to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines? This makes them hard to read for people with visual impairments. Striking the right balance between overly harsh text and visually appealing but difficult-to-read type is an important and rewarding challenge.

Outside of work

After I’m done work for the day, I don’t stop being a nerd. I’m a comic book fan and a cat person who loves a good sci-fi story or a long behind-the-scenes documentary about the insane practical effects used in any one of last century's blockbusters. My favourite century would have to be the 19th, because of the fashion.
